This past weekend was another fun-filled, busy time for Zeffert and Gold Catering. On Saturday, April 26, we had the delight to cater Kate and Josh’s wedding at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum in downtown Baltimore. With the sun shining, we were able to help bring Kate and Josh’s vision for their wedding day to life. The couple wanted to showcase their hometown spirit with touches of Baltimore spread throughout the playful venue. Berger cookies, the rich and decadent cookie originated in the DeBaufre Bakeries in Baltimore, were used as the guest’s wedding favors on their place settings. The cream table linens were accented with lime green napkins that were complimented by the beautiful, homemade centerpieces. Alternating between lemons and limes, the tall glass jars were filled high with the fruit and topped with white springtime flowers on each table. All of the centerpieces were surrounded by paper flowers made from custom printed paper. Intimate, creative touches were seen on all areas of the reception at the Port Discovery.
A Baltimore wedding would not be complete without an appearance from the Baltimore iconic couple, Mr. Boh and the Utz girl. The groom’s mother added to their wedding décor by making the bride and groom’s chairs for their sweetheart table, which were designed with Mr. Boh and the Utz girl on the cushions. The bride with her custom-made Utz girl wine glass, and the groom with his unique Natty Boh beer mug, were able to cheers to their wedding and future, with their family and friends throughout the night. We catered the food to the Baltimore couple, as guests could enjoy spreads such as Hot Maryland Crab Dip , and a Natty Boh Cheese Fondue. This also included the end of the night, as the delicious dessert table showcased Mr. Natty Boh and the Utz girl as well, from the cake topper to the custom-made Baltimore Raven’s and Baltimore Oriole’s M&M’s. The delicious wedding cake was from the Baltimore Cakery.
