There are some couples that we work with, whose weddings reflect perfectly at the venue that they choose. The wedding decor, the food, the personality of the couple — all of it were destined for where they chose to have their wedding. This was the case with Anna and Rob’s American Visionary Art Museum Wedding in Baltimore. This couple incorporated modern touches with a funky, artistic flair that melded with the unique Baltimore museum so well. The beautiful bride and her bridesmaids all carried jeweled brooch flower bouquets, as they walked down the aisle inside the American Visionary Art Museum. No need for added decor for this indoor ceremony, as the signature pink poodle float and other of the museum’s kinetic sculptures served as the fun backdrop for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests headed upstairs to the reception area. Guests tables had a black and white chevron table runner that added the perfect touch to the tables. The centerpiece for the tables were varied types of flowers with abstract vases. The food matched the modern decor, as we had our pulled pork sliders, scallops wrapped with bacon served with barbecue sauce, vegetarian pot stickers, chicken and waffle with a rosemary infused waffle, and our crowd favorite bang bang shrimp tacos. For the main course guests had the choice between our Maryland crab cake with smoked gouda cheese and roasted red pepper, sliced beef tenderloin, or our portobello mushroom napoleon.

Of course the night would not be complete without dessert. Anna and Rob added the perfect touch of Baltimore to their American Visionary Art Museum Wedding with a Natty Boh groom’s cake. Their eloquent wedding cake was topped with a Natty Boh and Utz Girl wedding cake topper. We also had a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries, pineapple, sliced bananas, pretzel rods, graham cracker sticks and marshmallows.  Congratulations to Anna and Rob! We loved catering your American Visionary Art Museum wedding.
